Music & Performance

Music and storytelling have taken me on some pretty extraordinary adventures. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of performing, writing, composing, collaborating and creating alongside many wonderful humans, from intimate local stages and theatre productions to major music festivals, touring throughout Australia and performing for audiences around the world. Music and theatre have opened doors and given me experiences I had once only imagined.

Current Projects.

Amalfi Roast.

» CURRENTLY TOURING «

Amalfi Roast is my autobiographical, one-woman musical comedy show, packed with original songs, sharp observations and the occasional overshare.

Inspired by motherhood, relationships and the gloriously messy business of being human, it’s my way of making sense of life’s monumental (mis)adventures, everyday absurdities and those beautifully chaotic moments we all recognise but rarely admit… out loud!

Accompanied by piano, guitar and a healthy dose of self-deprecation, I weave together clever lyrics, memorable melodies and heartfelt storytelling into a show that’s equal parts hilarious, heartfelt and delightfully unhinged.

The Gumboots.

» “COS GUMBOOTS ARE THE BEST” - DEBUT ALBUM, OUT NOW! «

The Gumboots is an award-winning rock’n’roll band for kids… and their grown-ups. Grab your guitars, your sequins and your boots - we’re here to inspire the next generation of rock stars!

Together with Elodie and Ben, we write, sing, devise and perform fun, high-energy songs and videos inspired by the wonderfully wild and weird world around us. Our songs are packed with catchy hooks, and playful storytelling that spark curiosity, laughter and a whole lot of dancing.

In 2025 we were proud to receive the Michael McGlynn Newcomer Award at the Australian Children’s Music Awards.

Past Projects.

Melia’s Naughties.

First presented at Cheeky Cabaret at the Brunswick Picture House, Melia’s Naughties is a sassy theatrical musical rendition of crowd favourites, Puppyschool and Housekeeping.

I wrote, devised and created this show before bringing it to life alongside three fabulous performers, blending original songs, and music into a playful, and powerful performance. Choreographed by the incredibly talented Sher Manu.

Wildskin.

Working on NORPA’s site-specific show Wildskin - devised and directed by Julian Louis - was a thrilling dive into immersive, destination theatre. Set inside a warehouse at the Lismore Showgrounds, the production was gritty, physical, funny and beautifully untamed. Blending storytelling, song and movement in a way that invited audiences to step right inside the wildness of the performance.

As a performer, devisor and vocal arranger, I loved helping bring that unpredictable world to life.

Understory.

A magical, immersive theatre adventure for children - written and directed by Valley Lipcer - where I performed alongside Tom Davies and contributed to the show’s creative development.

Set amongst the trees of the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens, we invited young adventurers to sing, explore, solve riddles and discover the wonder hidden beneath the forest canopy.

New Blood.

An original musical that I co-wrote, devised and performed alongside Joel Cooper, Anouska Gammon, Elodie Crowe and Mikey Bryant.

Inspired by the changing face of regional Australia, the show explores belonging, community and what it really means to call somewhere home through original music, humour and heartfelt storytelling.

Following a sell-out premiere, New Blood went on to win Best New Musical at the Gold Palm Theatre Awards before hitting Fringe Festival.

Too Much Space.

A theatre work I co-created, co-wrote and performed with Joel Cooper as part of Bangalow Theatre Company’s Take Over season.

Created in the wake of COVID, it explored the beautiful, frustrating and often humorous realities of relationships under pressure, blending original music, storytelling and theatre into an intimate, powerful and thought-provoking performance.

Three Pianos.

A wonderfully ambitious creative project that reminded me why I love combining music, songwriting, and theatre.

Devised, composed and performed alongside three incredible musicians - including my sister, Nerida - it became what I affectionately describe as “unprecedented variations on a theme of catharsis.”

Created for Bangalow Theatre Company’s Take Over season, it was equal parts musical exploration, collaboration and creative adventure.

Scarlett Affection.

My sister Nerida and I formed an indie-pop/folk-rock duo, touring nationally and internationally with our original music. We spent years writing, recording and performing together and w’re known for our tight sibling harmonies and engaging, witty live performances.

Along the way, we were honoured to receive both the John Lennon International Songwriting Award and the Rudy Brandsma Award from the Australian Songwriters Association.

I’ve been fortunate to work with Bangalow Theatre Company as both a performer and vocal coach on productions including The Drowsy Chaperone, Calamity Jane, RENT and Into the Woods.

It’s been such a privilege to support these productions, and I was deeply honoured to receive a Gold Palm Theatre Award for my work as Vocal Coach on Into the Woods.
